Optimizing the capacity of your forklift trucks and industrial trucks
Forklifts can be assigned to one or more control areas at any time, from which they are then supplied with transport orders. When assigning an order, the waiting time of the goods to be transported is considered first and then the arrival time of the transporter, depending on priority. For each source point, it can be determined individually whether the forklift driver is allowed to choose freely from the available transport units or not (retrieval from blocked transport units).
Specific facilities are connected via the exchange of order and message telegrams or via interactive guidance using wireless terminals on the forklift trucks. As both the storage location and the transported goods are tracked in this way, the inventory is automatically booked in real-time and TUP.FGS always has the current position of the vehicle.

Individual transport matrix for your warehouse
TUP.FGS allows you to map the topology of your warehouse and its material flow in such a way that your industrial trucks can be seamlessly managed by higher-level systems such as the TUP.MFC material flow computer. By parameterizing the routes according to individual framework conditions and optimizations, you prevent incorrect trips and reduce the risk of accidents.
Classification of forklifts and industrial trucks You can use TUP.FGS to organize your vehicles according to load handling equipment, vehicle dimensions and transportable load carrier types. This gives you an overview at all times of how many of your vehicles are available for the current order situation.
Assignment to control areas
If vehicles may only be used in certain areas of the warehouse or distribution center, these zones can be set up and assigned via TUP.FGS. This means that collaboration with AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robotics) is possible at any time.
Dynamic, paperless allocation of transport orders With TUP.FGS, transport orders are assigned to the appropriate vehicles via wireless data transmission; the driver can select from the available orders or the system takes over control. Smart solutions, such as vision or voice control, can already be fully integrated with TUP.SML today.
The orders can be weighted individually according to your requirements using the following parameters:
- Availability of forklifts or industrial trucks
- Proximity of the vehicle to the source location, also via location systems
- Assignment of the forklift to a storage area
- Available vehicle types and transport equipment types
- Order priorities
- Resource management through availability of transfer locations and their capacities
