Virtual warehouse 1. refers to the virtual combination of several storage locations within an inventory management system. – 2. a picking warehouse, for example, is not designed for the entire scope of an assortment, but only for a partial quantity. Depending on requirements, items must be changed (e.g. seasonal items). The warehouse is therefore virtually dimensioned for the entire product range.
