Satellite warehouses are a subgroup of compact warehouses and channel warehouses. Pallets are positioned one behind the other on rails in the channel. A correspondingly flat traversing unit, the satellite, can drive under pallets in the track and transport them after lifting in order to carry out storage and retrieval operations.
