Roller strip

1. refers to a discharge device consisting of a series of individual rollers that can be lifted out of the conveyor level (e.g. of a belt conveyor). These rollers are driven and set at an angle so that they deflect the conveyed goods sideways as they move over them and discharge them into the discharge point. Cf. roller carpet. – 2. refers to a conveyor technology element in which non-driven rollers (or plastic rollers) are arranged one behind the other in a U-profile; it is primarily used in flow storage systems based on the gravity principle.
