Requirement specifications

is usually drawn up by the contractor after the order has been placed, if necessary also with the cooperation of the client. The P. contains the specifications. In the P., the user specifications are detailed and the realization requirements are described. The P. defines HOW and WITH WHAT the requirements are to be realized. A definitive statement is made about the realization of the system. When preparing the P., the contractor checks the consistency and feasibility of the requirements stated in the specifications. The P. must be approved by the client. After approval by the client, the P. becomes the binding agreement for the realization and execution of the project for both the contractor and the client. See VDI/VDE 3694, specifications/requirements for the use of automation systems.
