Portable Data File

A PDF label consists of a stacked (multi-line) code that can store around a thousand characters on a field the size of a business card. Stacked barcodes are based on their own code structure. Up to 1000 bytes can be encoded and the number of lines can vary between three and 90. The labels can be produced on any commercially available printer and read with suitable scanners. As a sticker or printout, the PDF serves as an information carrier for goods along the logistics chain.
