Logistics

1. is the scientific study of the planning, control and optimization of the flow of materials, people, energy and information in systems, networks and processes. – 2. is an industry term used to describe all companies or parts of companies that provide logistics services. In addition to transportation, handling and storage, logistics services increasingly include value-added services such as customer-specific packaging, assembly or data storage and information management.
