(abbreviated to DSD) is a privately owned company. It has been run as an unlisted public limited company since 1997, with the task of recycling all packaging bearing the Green Dot in accordance with the German Closed Substance Cycle and Waste Management Act. The costs for this are borne by the licensees of the Green Dot. Dual means: a nationwide system in addition to municipal disposal.
