Air curtain

An air curtain provides a climatic separation between two areas, e.g. on a ramp between the loading bay and the environment. An air jet is blown out vertically from top to bottom (typically approx. 30 centimeters wide). Air curtains prevent thermal flow and protect against influences such as draughts, which can be caused by open transitions between climatically different rooms. Air curtains can seal off a temperature difference of approx. 25 K.
