TUP.MFC
Best possible utilization of your warehouse logistics through optimized material flow control
Optimization and transparency along your entire materials handling technology – that is what our material flow controller TUP.MFC stands for. Any number of materials handling technologies with any number of checkpoints can be monitored and controlled in milliseconds.
Integrated
Vendor and interface-independent
TUP.MFC turns a collection of isolated solutions into a unified whole. Whether fixed materials handling technology, forklifts, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) or people, our material flow control ensures efficient utilization of all available resources from incoming to outgoing goods. This way, you reduce the complexity of your system landscape along with the associated costs and risks.
Fully adaptive
Flexible customization during day-to-day operations
Intralogistics is fast. That is why we enable our customers to adapt materials handling technologies during operation using our market-proven set of rules and graphical user interfaces. This means that optimizations, new processes or products can be integrated into ongoing operations without any loss of time. With TUP.MFC you are in control of what happens where, when and why in your intralogistics.
Warehouse automation
Cross-manufacturer expertise
Your interfaces, your hardware, your flexibility – your needs are our priority. We are manufacturer-independent and have mastered all the necessary interfaces, be it REST, SOAP or MQTT, to give you the greatest possible flexibility in designing your intralogistics processes. If a particular hardware is ideal for your purposes, it can be easily interfaced with our material flow controller.
Platform
Hosted entirely according to your needs
With us, there is no compulsion to use “Software as a Service”. If, due to security requirements or company guidelines, our solution is to run on site – as a virtual machine or on your own hardware – then that’s how it will be. If you rely on cloud hosting or want us to map your material flow completely over our infrastructure, that is also part of our service portfolio.
Warehouse Control System
Sequence planning, batch management and order consolidation – save resources, increase efficiency
As experts in the dynamic e-commerce environment, we know that intralogistics is always on the move. That is why we rely on highly efficient batch and returns management, order consolidation and the option of adjusting sequence planning during the runtime. With TUP.MFC, you ensure that returns are not even stored, but are directly added back to matching customer orders via intelligent buffer management.
Additional TUP.MFC features
- High reliability
- Recovery strategies for interface partners, for example in the event of data loss in the PLC
- Connection of printers and labelers
- Connection of automatic packaging stations (e.g. film wrappers)
- Connection of scales and measuring stations (e.g. in goods receipt and goods issue)
- Centralized system monitoring and control center, precise analysis and transparency of all material flows
- Adaptive optimization of existing materials handling technology
- Resource- and demand-driven supply of workstations (e.g. packing stations, sorter infeeds)
- Flexible, modular options for taking on warehouse management tasks
- Space management for intermediate storage and buffers
- Empties management
- Sorter management
Success Story
Large-scale retrofit project – warehouse management and material flow control at BOSCH Mobility Aftermarket
It is the toughest challenge in intralogistics: replacing a warehouse management system (WMS) and a material flow controller (MFC) during operation. Every little error, every minute of downtime has a direct impact on the customer. This is especially true for a customer of this size. The expectations of the people in charge at Bosch MA were correspondingly high when the intralogistics specialists from TUP were called in to convert the entire process in the logistics center, including comprehensive warehouse automation.
Success Story
TUP.MFC in operation at Zalando's Polish fulfillment center in Gryfino
The logistics center processes orders from Poland, Germany, Austria and Scandinavia. In addition to the transport tasks, the material flow controller also controls and optimizes the material flows within the entire warehouse infrastructure.
Additional functions and options
