Transport packaging

Transport packaging protects the goods during transportation so that direct contact with the goods is avoided. T. such as drums, canisters, crates, sacks and cardboard boxes facilitate the handling and transportation of multiple sales units.
In English-language literature, packaging is predominantly divided hierarchically into primary packaging, secondary packaging and tertiary packaging. T. are usually referred to as tertiary packaging.
